Dr Ignatius Pang

Project Detail

Past projects – integrative data and network analysis

Ignatius’s research focused on the integrative analysis of data generated from ‘omics’ experiments, including transcriptome, proteome and interactome datasets, to understand how cellular functions are regulated. He applied integrative data and network analysis to many projects, including to understand the mechanism of antifungal drug synergy, to define the small RNA interactome of pathogenic E. coli, and to guide the metabolic engineering of yeast to generate low-alcohol wine. Ignatius also studied protein post-translational modifications and published seminal work on the methylproteome and the structural environment of post-translational modifications in all proteins of the proteome.
