The ‘complete’ protein methylation network published in PNAS

This paper, led by Joshua Hamey, describes the protein methylation network in yeast. It is of particular significance as it reports, perhaps for the first time, absolutely all instances of a common protein post-translational modification in a eukaryotic cell and all cognate enzymes that are responsible for such sites. tt also presents a formal logic and process that proves the network to be essentially complete. The paper is available here.
